Symkinetic is a series of kinetic jewellery pieces that explores the interactive relationship between the human body and the wearable object. Through the interaction between the dynamic structures and bodily movement, this series transforms the intangible relationship between body and jewellery into a visible, kinetic expression through their physical interplay. Each piece incorporates movable mechanical elements that produce an immediate, visually responsive wearing experience, demonstrating an interdependent motion between the body and the jewellery piece.

The jewellery responds to the wearer’s bodily movement, forming a real-time dynamic feedback loop - to be born in motion and silenced in stillness. Rather than a passive ornament, the jewellery becomes part of a tightly interwoven system with the body, presenting a state of passive yet sentient interaction. The abstract connection between body and jewellery is thus translated into a perceptible visual language through movement.

This series explores the role of the body as an active agent in the act of wearing. By embedding dynamic structures within the jewellery, the work intervenes in and reflects the interactive process between person and jewellery, drawing focus to the body's capacity to animate, respond, and reveal. The pieces give form to the invisible connection between jewellery and the body, allowing it to be both seen and sensed.
